General Donation Refund Policy
Our Stance on Donation Refunds
As a registered Section 8 non-profit organization, Vighneshwara Foundation utilizes all donations promptly to fund our approved programs and projects in education, health, and community development. Therefore, all donations made to Vighneshwara Foundation are non-refundable.
Once a donation is processed, it is considered a firm commitment of support towards our charitable objectives and is immediately allocated to our initiatives designed for maximum social impact. This ensures that resources are deployed efficiently to those in need, as per our mission with ImpactCreator.
Exceptions for Refund Requests
Limited Circumstances for Refund Consideration
While donations are generally non-refundable, Vighneshwara Foundation may consider refund requests in extremely limited and specific circumstances, such as:
Duplicate Transaction: If an error occurs resulting in a duplicate donation being made (e.g., two identical transactions for the same amount within a short timeframe).
Unauthorized Transaction: If a donation was made fraudulently or without the donor's authorization. In such cases, a formal police complaint (FIR) or bank dispute resolution document may be required.
Technical Error: If there was a clear technical error on our part or with the payment gateway that resulted in an incorrect charge.
Conditions for Exception Review:
Any request for a refund must be made within 7 days of the original transaction date.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [Your Dedicated Support/Donations Email Address - info@vighneshwara.org and include:
Full Name of Donor
Date of Donation
Donation Amount
Transaction ID/Reference Number
A clear explanation for the refund request and supporting documentation - bank statement or UTR.
Vighneshwara Foundation reserves the sole discretion to approve or reject any refund request based on the evidence provided and the circumstances of the case. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within - 15-30 business days after approval.
Recurring Donation Cancellation Policy
Managing Your Recurring Contributions
If you have set up a recurring (e.g., monthly) donation to Vighneshwara Foundation via ImpactCreator, you have the flexibility to cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation Process:
Through Your Account: If you have an ImpactCreator donor account, you can cancel your recurring donation directly through your dashboard.
Via Email: You may send a written cancellation request to Your Dedicated Support/Donations Email Address- support@vighneshwara.org. Please include your full name, email used for donation, and the recurring donation amount.
Effective Date: Cancellations will be effective from the next scheduled billing cycle. No further charges will be made after your cancellation request is processed.
Past Contributions: Any donations already processed before the cancellation request becomes effective are non-refundable, as per our general donation refund policy.
